Be still my heart, I loooovvveee werewolves and these pics are exactly what a werewolf should be. Not those silly orangutan looking things from Skinwalkers or those horrid CGI wolves from Twilight.
My fave werewolf stories are The Howling, Ginger Snaps and American Werewolf in London-which they are remaking. I'm wary of this as the original is good.
Dude. That first picture. I've been needing a picture for these beasts that are in my current WIP (they're not werewolves, but look werewolf-ish) and that is PERFECT. And I also now want to find a way to use the winged-creature with him in #4. So badass. Thanks for sharing!
An American Werewolf in London for movies and The Wolfen for books. Honorable mention for the werewolves in the Twilight Series--they're so big and fluffy in the movies, awww!
Funny sidebar: I went to a talk by Michael J. Fox this weekend and he said he was kicking himself for not saving any momentos from Back to the Future because he thought the movie would be a bunch of cr*p, but he has plenty of stuff from Teen Wolf!
Hmmm... I don't know. I can only think of the really terirble ones. Though... Raised by Wolves by what's her face wasn't so bad. I liked it well enough. I think it was by Jennifer Byrnes? But I don't know if I'd try my hand at werewolves. Maybe one day.
My FAVORITE werewolf is Oz, from Buffy. As far as movies go, American Werewolf in London, I think. And though he's only a smaller part and the movie doesn't do his story justice, my favorite literary werewolf is Remus Lupin--I really love Lupin.
I hate werewolves so not a chance! ;o)

I'd say American Werewolf in London, although while dated now, is still my favorite.
ReplyDeleteAmerican Werewolf in London is my absolute favorite werewolf movie.
ReplyDeleteAmerican Werewolf in London was pretty good. The only other I can think of was -- I was a Teenage Werewolf. (Which I have not seen.)
ReplyDeleteNot really a werewolf, but that last pic reminds me of the demon at the beginning of Princess Mononoke.

If something's going to have a lot of hair, it better be a Hobbit. That said, you won't find me pissing off a werewolf.
ReplyDeleteAmerican Werewolf in London! And you must see Ginger Snaps!

ReplyDeleteGotta go with An American Werewolf in London. It was scary in the best kind of way. Always been more of a werewolf fan. Vampires, not so much.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics, thanks, Hannah!
Ditto for me, AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON is a classic. I hope it pops up somewhere on TV during this Halloween season! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the last picture.
