I was reminded of this just in time! Thanks Summer!
This is where I'll be most of November.
Nah, I wish!! That would be the ultimate.
This is actually where I'll be:

Complete with inspirational plaque.

And towering books threatening to fall on me...

and my Kachina doll for inspiration and evil looks.

Now I'm off! ZOOMZOOMZOOM!!

ReplyDeleteHow can you miss?
ReplyDeleteKachina, inspiration, AND a lava lamp!
Get busy :)
that cabin pic is awesome
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Love the Kachina doll. :)
ReplyDeleteIs my blog too wide for regular screens? I've gotten so used to my big-ass monitor that I'm not sure anymore. I don't want anyone to have to side-scroll...
Oh, and hells yeah--that cabin is amazing!!
ReplyDelete@Anne- That's Michael Pollan's writing house!! I'M SO FRICKIN JEALOUS!! I WANT! I WANT! I WANT!!
ReplyDeleteOh I'd love to get me a writing cabin like that. Oh, and your sign. hee hee.
ReplyDeleteWrite, write, write.
How fun, Hannah! Love seeing your workspace. Best of luck with NaNo!!
ReplyDeleteLove your first choice....
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have a nice little workspace for yourself, though!
The cabin would have been wonderful. Where did you get your sign, I want one! I can't help thinking what a funny picture it would have been to have a part one and a part two of those threatening books-part two being several books on your head as you lay across your computer! You've made me smile!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with nano!
Very nice!
ReplyDeleteHappy First of Nanowrimo to you! Would love to have that little cabin, but my space looks quite a bit like yours.
ReplyDeleteholy moly that cabin is perfect!!
ReplyDeletebut your space looks really nice too! so. organized.
Someday I'm gonna have a badass writing cottage...maybe a tree house. I LOVE that min-cabin. *drool*
ReplyDeleteI like you writing spot! (is that a little owl you have there on top of the books? Love.)
Happy Nano/November/Monday, Hannah! :)
Nice writing spot!
ReplyDeleteAnd zoom-zoom? Do you drive a Mazda?
Is that a story board behind you!? I keep meaning to storyboard but didn't get to it yet... Love the Kuchina doll!
ReplyDeleteHey, we totes have the same laptop. Awesome!
ReplyDeletei have this crazy urge to come to your place and rearrange all those notecards on your corkboard...
ReplyDeleteI would love to be in that cabin too! :) Love the lava lamp and the inspirational sign. Too cute.

Who wouldn't want that rustic hideaway w/ lots of books as their office?
ReplyDeleteI really like yours & that green lava lamp is mega cool! :)
Good luck with NaNo. I've been spending so much time blog hopping that I haven't actually done any writing yet. Opps.
ReplyDeleteOoo! I trade my hubby for that cabin in the woods! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the lava lamp in your work space!
LOL I'm with Katie. I've been doing so much blog hopping I'm starting to feel guilty about my lack of words.
Looks like a great writing space, Hannah. Have fun with the evil looks!
ReplyDeleteJai
I love your plaque! Very inspirational. :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck during NaNo!!
I love the lava lamp!
ReplyDeleteDeath by a tower of books is the best way to go.
ReplyDeleteCute space. I especially like the evil doll and the corkboard with scene(?) stuff behind you.
@C.N. - Thanks!! It works...for now.
ReplyDelete@Katie- I've been unplugged but as my email keeps blowing up I figured I should comment! LOL! And I'm past the halfway point for my daily quota for NaNo! woo-hoo!!
@Teebore- Really?? I'm sure your keyboard works though. le sigh.
ReplyDelete@Sarah- Go ahead. They're only meditations. Nothing that needs to be in order so SUCK IT!
I'm sure your keyboard works though.
ReplyDeleteIt does, though my ability to routinely wirelessly connect to networks is getting spotty, which is why I'm transitioning to a new laptop at work.
I love that sign too!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have a little cabin like that. It would be so awesome!
Nice space! Not as cozy as the cabin but close!
ReplyDeleteI love that sign! Where do I get one? Also, I've got a ton of the same writing books you do!
ReplyDeleteLove your space!!! It's fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI like the sign! Oh and your notes the size of post-its...they are so neatly in place...mine is chaotic!!! :)
ReplyDeleteNice tower of books! I have a few of my own!
ReplyDeleteSuper cool pics...had to laugh at the first on. You had me to. I'm thinking, man you are so lucky to have a place like that!
ReplyDeleteoh, I love the first one, too! We've got two storage sheds in back, and could probably fit all the stuff into one, so I've been day dreaming about using the other one as a writing escape...except it'd only work in spring and fall because there's no AC or heat back there.

ReplyDelete:D I loved the peek at your writing space!
Great space! That Kachina doll is really cool. Love the book collection!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you...:)
Ooh, you have my lava lamp! I use mine as a way to keep myself writing--if I turn it on, I have to stay where I am until it warms up, which keeps me going.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have fun writing! :) Weeeee....
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone!! Sorry I didn't get back to all of you. I blame NaNo.
